green hills and the pba game

so we went to the greenhills mall today. we haggled with some nice filipinos and bought some souvenirs.

we also went and saw T2, a new tagalog horror movie. the cashier looked at us and said, "umm, sirs, this is tagalog movie. you know tagalog?". and we replied, "oo naman, marunong naman kaming magtagalog". they then giggled. the theater was bigger than any theater in the states, but there were only like 25 people watching the movie.

manny pacquiao beat hatton in two rounds. we watched the fight at neil's friend, mike's house. it was 2 rounds.

we also went and saw the burger king whoppers vs alaska aces game. very fun. this guy tried to sell us some fake tickets for the longest time. we didn't know where to buy tickets so we just kind of walked in. some people tried to ask us for out tickets, and neil asked one lady if we could just buy the tickets inside. she said yeah, so we just walked right in. we sat down in the stadium and then the weird guy selling fake tickets came and pointed at us so we walked out to actually buy tickets. all the guards were like, "how the heck did they get in without tickets?". and someone replied, "we tried to ask for their tickets but they just walked right passed us". haha, then the weird guy tried to sell us his fake tickets again while we found the ticket center. the lady there told us not to buy tickets from that guy, who promptly disappeared once she said that his tickets were fake. so we bought our tickets and went inside and became the loud americans that everyone hated. it was so fun. nobody cheers at pba games. but we changed that.
